Thanks for the comments Kevin! I agree. I am not saying they get dispensation for their problems and the deaths etc....but they are no worse than any car company and in many ways they're still way better. All in all, they employ a lot of American workers AND spend on radio effectively.

Matt, you made an unpopular, but good point. Seems like a mistake is enuf bury a company. What about all the deaths that resulted from bad products that were sent to the street by American car makers with full knowledge of the defects. Now Toyota is willing to man, er, person up and people are upset? Sounds like greed and lawsuits to me. Radio, what a great way for them to get the word out to the people that matter. Drivers. Not only are they acting, they are getting it right.
CU on the Radio, or Twitter, probably Twitter.
Out....................

I feel the need to add a #18 and #19 prediction.

18) Steve Dahl will become the Leo Laporte of Chicago radio. Don't know who Leo Laporte is? Go to StickAM.com and click his name. Watch him. That could be Dahl.

19) The Radio Shopping Show model will hit a Chicago radio station. This is an old school radio business model that will find legs in the metro, after working so well in the suburbs and smaller markets.

Scott,

Real listeners don't think like that. At all.. only radio people. Bottom line, it's either entertaining or it isn't. There is no set formula.. well there actually is.. which is why radio is so average. If your station has the goods, use it. Maximize it... I do afternoons at KissMilwaukee.. I wouldn't be offended if they brought in Wes, Rahny, and Alley to "takeover" during a blizzard. I would enjoy it.. possibly learn something from it..
As a radio talent, you have to adapt constantly. Radio will never = comfortable. But that's what makes it interesting
